Mark Staniszewski

Biography

Mark Stan is a former Team USA top 10 ranked judo athlete and former #1 ranked veterans athlete in the US; and formally NAGA's #1 ranked Gi fighter in America.  He was the first athlete in history to win Pan Am Masters Championships in both judo and BJJ, and is a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee. He currently holds a 5th degree black belt in judo under the USJF and USA Judo (the governing body for Olympic judo); and a 4th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under 9th degree Grandmasters Joe Moreira and Francisco Mansor  (GM Mansor was a direct student of Helio Gracie). Mark is also a certified coach in Catch-As-Catch-Can (Catch Wrestling)...but Mark's greatest accomplishment is being a husband and a dad.
